Kenny Scharf Art Basel Reception At Ocean House

Miami Beach, FL – December 7, 2013 - During Art Basel Miami Beach, Marc Bell and Marc Leder hosted a private reception for Kenny Scharf at Ocean House. The South Beach hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the posh soiree, which included libations and guests taking in the painted works of Scharf.

Basel Week 2013 Recap

Today we bring you the best of what we saw at Context and Aqua, Kenny Scharf’s garden and mural installation, “Tony’s Oasis” (where we were able to speak to the artist as he chopped coconuts with a machete) as well as the female-focused “Women on the Walls” exhibition, which spotlighted the prominent female street artists in the mural project Wynwood Walls.
